TN Div Cmdr. Skip Earle presents Cmdr. Lance Spradlin it's charter

Thanks to Cmdr. Earle, 1st Regt. Cmdr. Billy Jackson of Sam Watkins Camp #29 Columbia, Cmdr. Bryan Sharp 'Squirrel' Dickson Co. Capt. McCauley Camp #260, Bishop Harvey Moore Hickman Co. Camp #559, Cmdr. Steve Settle Ft. Donelson #249 & all others that spent any of their time helping to establish this camp.  You are appreciated!

92 yr. old Col. William M. Slayden II is inducted as the camp's most senior member joining under his grandfather & namesake 1st Lt. William Marshal Slayden 11th TN Inf Co. C.

Col. Slayden also was presented the SCV WWII War Service Medal to his surprise this evening!  Thank you for your service to this country sir.

Camp Adjutant Harris Hooper is presented his certificate upon the service of Capt. W.H. McCauley 11th TN Inf. Co. C.

 

Col. John Lee Williams gets his certificate after a long hard road in helping to establish this camp. Thank you sir for your dedication & patience. Montgomery N. Adams 50th TN Co. K would be proud.

 

New charter member Scott Sykes finally gets his certificate for himself & his brother Larry. They both joined up under Sgt. William Copeling White 24th TN Sharpshooters Battalion (Maney's) Co. B. Thanks for hanging in there fellers.

 

Mr. Trotter is proof that bringing someone to a meeting can bear new membership! Thanks for joining our group & continue to spread the word.

 

Rob Harris of Camden joined up as a result of this website representing his ancestor in the 49th TN Inf. Co. I that joined up with Col. Napier. Thanks for joining up to honor these men in butternut & gray!
