92 yr. old Col. William M. Slayden II is inducted as the camp's most senior member joining under his grandfather & namesake 1st Lt. William Marshal Slayden 11th TN Inf Co. C.
Col. Slayden also was presented the SCV WWII War Service Medal to his surprise this evening! Thank you for your service to this country sir. |
